Position Title: IT Business Analyst (Junior) or Programmer Analyst/Application Software Developer (Junior)
Department: I.T. Services
Location: Arvada, CO
Minimum qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with mainframe-based software applications to include:
- Previous COBOL programming experience
- ADABAS/Natural
- Easytrieve
- JCL and TSO/ISPF
- CICS
- Strong writing and interviewing skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work well with people to include: users, developers, etc.
- Experience with MS Office and Visio
- Ability to collect data, identify salient points, and organize for presentation
Preferred/desirable qualifications:
- Accounting background
- Reverse engineering system requirements and process flows on existing tax systems.
- Provide support for other DOR legacy systems and/or Internet applications.
