Position Title:Programmer Analyst/Application Software Developer (Intermediate)
Department: I.T. Services
Location: Arvada, CO

Minimum qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience with mainframe-based software applications to include:
• Previous COBOL programming experience
• ADABAS/Natural
• Easytrieve
• JCL and TSO/ISPF
• CICS
• Strong writing and interviewing skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work well with people to include: users, developers, etc.

Preferred/desirable qualifications:

• Experience with MS Office and Visio
• Ability to collect data, identify salient points, and organize for presentation
• Accounting background
• Provide support for legacy systems, which may include system changes based on legislation.
• Reverse engineering system requirements and process flows on existing tax systems.
